Who is eligible to apply?
New Zealand Students:
Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents and a current student at one of the following institutions:
• University of Canterbury
• University of Waikato
• Wanganui School of Design
EU Students:
Applicants must be EU citizens or permanent residents and a current student at one of the following institutions:
• Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences
• University of Lancaster
• University of Ljubljana
• University of Nottingham
In order of priority, the following types of students can apply:
• Students currently enrolled in a Masters programme
• Students in the final year of an honours programme
• Students in a PhD programme
Students from any background can apply, but they should have a strong interest in Interaction Design.
*Preference is given to students studying in Computer Science, Computer Graphic Design, and Augmented Reality.
Application Requirements
To apply for the EU/NZ exchange programme, each applicant will be required to submit the following:
• A completed application form
• Letter from student's Thesis advisor approving participation in programme
• A portfolio of work including a variety of original, developmental and finished work.
• A copy of university transcripts
• Resume/CV
• Cover letter/statement of interest
• For New Zealand students: Proof of New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• For EU students: Proof of EU Citizenship or Permanent Residency
